Diwali is the most important festival of the year in India — and for Hindus in particular. It is celebrated across faiths by more than a billion people in the world’s most populous nation and the diaspora. Over five days, people take part in festive gatherings, fireworks displays, feasts and prayer.
Diwali, one of the most cherished celebrations in Eastern culture, marks the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. It’s a time when homes are adorned with lights and decorations, families gather and communities come together to share in the joy of new beginnings. The festival symbolises renewal, prosperity and hope – universal values that connect us all.
May this Diwali bring brightness to your lives, success to your endeavours and happiness to your homes. Happy Diwali from the MCE Team!
