The openness and welcome provided by Sydney Water to its industry partners was really appreciated and it was interesting to hear many thought provoking and engaging presentations from various speakers and panellists throughout the day including:
✨ Paul Plowman and Ben Flyvbjerg discuss delivering complex infrastructure projects and lessons from around the world, and the importance of data and leadership to deliver projects successfully
✨ Christopher Gould, Lisa McLean and Asela Atapattu on the Circular economy in the water industry
✨ Simon Granville chair a panel to Grow First Nations Economy in NSW
✨ Emma Pryor and her Major Projects team to deliver $34bn of infrastructure works
✨ Anthony Perrau and Regional Development Partners / Partnership representatives from each region on the status of each region, and commitment to grow the industry through involvement with the supply chain.
It was amazing to hear about the challenges and complexities of all the projects in the future, and the open collaboration of Sydney Water to engage with the industry, to help deliver a pipeline of safe, secure and sustainable water infrastructure which will benefit the whole community.
