MCE would like to congratulate NAWIC on reaching the milestone of 10,000 members.
We are a proud corporate member of NAWIC and share NAWIC’s vision of an equitable construction industry where women fully participate.
MCE’s commitment to gender diversity and inclusion includes:
- Hiring practices aimed at attracting and promoting more women.
- Continuing our culture to support initiatives that allow women the opportunity to thrive in our business. This includes flexible working, hybrid working from home, internal mentoring programs and training and investing in continuing professional development.
Our Business Development Lead, Clare Fenwick, is Co-Chair of NAWIC NSW Connections Committee, which is focused on supporting members to build meaningful connections and to prioritise health and wellbeing – another priority of MCE! Clare and Business Manager, Nicky Fell, recently attended NAWIC’s first Health & Wellbeing Event, sponsored by Adco, where 50 attendees were treated to a Yoga class, oral hygiene talk and delicious meal whilst networking.
We hope that by providing free membership of NAWIC to all our team and encouraging them to take advantage of the wide range of events and support available, we help nurture and sustain a healthy, vibrant, diverse team and industry.
