Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) hosted the Australasia Commercial Management Conference – 1 June 2023

commercial, MCE News

Members of our MCE – Management • Commercial • Engineering Team, Brian Keating and Philip Barkman joined fellow industry colleagues from across Australasia and Japan last Thursday at the Australasia Commercial Management Conference, facilitated by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, RICS.

A thoroughly insightful and enjoyable day spent with our fellow peers where several very topical discussions were facilitated on matters such as cost escalation, collaborative contracting models, fair risk apportionment, claims mitigation and management strategies, and the potential future use of AI in construction commercial management.

As is always the case, catching up with industry friends, making new ones and networking with clients was fantastic. Thanks to the RICS for facilitating this event and thanks to all panel members for taking their time to share their expert views on the subject matters.
