Happy International Women’s Day – 8 March 2022
Happy International Women’s Day!!
Today we braved the rain ☔️ and headed into the City for High Tea to celebrate the women of MCE, Annabella Dao, Jennifer Finn, Clare Fenwick & Nicky Fell and wish all women across the world an amazing day. Thinking of those affected by the floods along our Australian East Coast in particular – stay safe everyone.
We asked Jennifer – who also happens to share her own birthday today with all the women in the world! – to give us her thoughts and experience as a female working at MCE…..
Jennifer started working as a Document Controller with MCE in April of last year. She is currently working on the Sydney Metro West project where she brings over ten years of Document Control experience with her.
“In my role, every day is different and challenging at the same time…every day is a learning day in the Engineering Industry! I’ve had the opportunity to work on some incredible projects over the years with some great teams, which I’m glad to be able to say had some wonderful female leadership. I’ve been very fortunate to be a female empowered by the construction environment.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is being able to help people, whether it’s assisting the team with technical support or setting up new processes to facilitate access to the most current documentation on the project.
It’s very exciting knowing you are playing a part in bringing these projects to life.”
We look forward to bringing even more female representation into our expanding MCE Team.
